I am a teacher who works with high school-age students with learning and behavioral disabilities. My students need the most support and attention. By fulfilling my wish list, I was able to gift all of my students guided reading strips and fidgets of their choosing. Even though these items may seem simple, they make a big impact. With the guided reading strips, my students were able to focus better and take their time reading, which in turn helped them comprehend the materials in front of them a little better. With the variety of fidgets I received, I was able to offer my students fidgets when they felt like they needed them. For my students with sensory issues, this was a big help because they could use the fidget discreetly and redirect themselves to the task when appropriate. Sometimes it is the little things that make a big impact. I am very grateful to you for your generous donation.
