Students who arrive at school on time have the opportunity to be greeted at the door with an additional snack they can choose and take with them to class. Having a choice in their incentive, along with the opportunity to earn PBIS points and shop in our PBIS Store, has helped us create positive experiences around coming to school, being on time, and being ready to learn.\r\n\r\nAnd we are excited to share that the work is showing up in our data! Our previous state report card reflected a chronic absenteeism rate of 91.2%. On our most recent Ohio State Report Card, that number decreased to 87.4%...a reduction of nearly 4 percentage points! While we know there is still work to do, this progress represents students making it through our doors more consistently, and your donation has helped us provide one more reason for them to want to be here.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our Mariners and believing that sometimes, something as simple as a snack, a choice, a smile at the door, and a positive incentive can help create a bigger connection to school. \r\n\r\nYour support is helping us move forward, one student, one morning, and one snack at a time!
