Students identified what book they wanted to read and were then placed in a \"book club\" with other students who chose the same book. Each \"book club\" had 4 weeks to read their book, pausing to discuss with their book club twice a week. Sometimes students discussed prompts I gave them, although more often than not, students were inspired to organically discuss their novel. It was amazing to witness students to genuinely enjoy reading and discussing what they read!\r\n\r\nAt the end of the \"book club\" students did one group project about their book, and one individual project.
