It has also helped by given them an extra incentive to read. The students love going into the treat box and being able to pick out a special prize or treat for their accomplishment. It is so good to see the students want to learn and be able to feel good about what they are learning and the snacks really help them want to improve in their learning. We really appreciate the snacks for the students.","fullyFundedDate":1615914025882,"projectUrl":"project/shazam-snacks/5465059/","projectTitle":"Shazam Snacks","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Maul","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7789816_orig.jpg?crop=268,268,x3534,y1008&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1615570239756","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7789816"},{"teacherId":9900448,"projectId":9067885,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our students have discovered an exciting new way to express themselves and engage in meaningful learning experiences through podcasting!\r\n\r\nMany of you use technology every day, but in our classrooms, it's being used in incredible ways to help students develop communication, creativity, and critical thinking skills. The technology you helped provide has transformed our students into storytellers, interviewers, and content creators, giving them a platform to share their voices with confidence.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts for our students has been hearing their own voices in the headphones as they record and edit their podcasts. It's a magical moment when they realize their words matter, and they're part of something bigger. Whether they're interviewing guests, discussing school life, or exploring topics that impact their community, they are fully engaged in the process—learning to ask thoughtful questions, listen actively, and express their ideas with clarity.\r\n\r\nWe've also seen some incredible transformations among our students. One student, who was once shy about speaking in class, now lights up behind the microphone, confidently sharing stories and leading interviews. Another student, who loves storytelling, has found a new passion in editing and producing episodes, taking pride in making sure every detail sounds just right.\r\n\r\nThis project has not only enhanced learning but also empowered our students to use their voices in new and exciting ways. Thanks to your support, they're gaining real-world skills, building self-confidence, and most importantly—having fun while learning.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your belief in our students and the opportunities you've made possible.
