Although all students are required to bring essentials to class, not even half brought them, so your generous donations of essentials really meant a lot to many people. \r\nIt's so nice for the students to not have to worry and stop to get things like a pencil, tissues, scissors, paper, and highlighters. They are able to learn uninterrupted in that sense, and it really helps us stay focused on what we need to stay focused on. They don't have to be embarrassed to ask because they know where to find them. \r\nThe clock and pencil sharpener really help the class stay on task and manage our time appropriately. They all compliment on the clock and it saves me the monotony of having to answer \"What time is it?\" over and over everyday. And I really think they love the pencil sharpener - I know it's impressed me- because of how quickly and nicely it sharpens for them. \r\nThe extra books we got because of your generous donation have already been read at least once already. The graphic novels are popular for my students and they snatched those up for silent reading right away! \r\nThe students have LOVED the candy. It is the best motivator I have and growing middle school kids are always quick to enjoy a piece of candy. The stickers have also been strong motivators to keep students reading. Every time they finish a book, they get a sticker and, at least, 50 stickers have been earned so far! I filled my sticker holder at the beginning of the year, and it's already looking half empty. It really makes my teacher heart happy. \r\nMultiple students have told me this year that they haven't read a full book since elementary school, and I really think the motivators and the graphic novels have a hand in that. As a teacher, you have helped me reach these kids and that is what matters.\r\nThank you from the bottom of my heart.","fullyFundedDate":1755998429889,"projectUrl":"project/lets-enjoy-8th-grade/9527923/","projectTitle":"Let's Enjoy 8th Grade!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Theo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7900355_orig.jpg?crop=956,956,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1627017035772","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-theo-plaster"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_84267","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":399,"numTeachers":30,"percentFrplEligible":79,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":92,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"13.3:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":71.4,"schoolId":84267,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Cambridge Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Cambridge Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/ohio/cambridge-city-school-district/cambridge-middle-school/84267"}
