Many of my students read below grade level and do not find much love in reading. Throughout the school year, my students will be given their choice of books to read and many are always drawn to graphic novels. Graphic novels are a great option to fight illiteracy, just as a traditional text is. Students will have 10 minutes a day to read any book of their choice, so our graphic novels will get a lot of good use. Students will also be able to take these books home to share with their friends and family, just as they would any other book in my classroom library. Please help my students enjoy their reading time again!
