The kids use them when they are having big emotions in the morning. Separation from parents can be a hard transition for some kiddos. We also use the sensory weights throughout the day to help calm the body and mind, as young bodies have a lot of movement needs. The calming ball helps the preschoolers feel more secure when having big emotions if they want the feeling of a hug but do not want to be touched by anyone. Moving forward, I hope to get more materials like these.
