Because of your kindness, we were able to provide essential supplies such as snacks, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, sanitary items and more—materials that are used every single day and often taken for granted. Your support ensures that our students have what they need to fully participate in learning without the added stress of going without basic necessities.\r\n\r\nFor many of our inner-city students from low-income households, consistent access to food, school supplies, and hygiene items is not guaranteed. Your donation helps bridge that gap. The snacks you provided help students stay focused throughout the day, and the classroom materials ensure that no child feels left out or unprepared. Beyond meeting physical needs, your generosity sends our students a powerful message—that there are people who believe in their potential and want to see them succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our classroom and in the futures of our students. The 8th Grade Formal Dance was indeed a night to remember. It was such a joy seeing students arrive in their fancy attire and sneakers. We decided to do a Sneaker Ball Glow Party theme, and everything fit together so well! Between the music, crowns, glow stickers, utensils, and neon plates, we had everything we needed to make this 8th Grade dance a night to remember. The night was nothing short of amazing! The best part of all was that students were talking about all of the fun that they had! The student who won formal queen said that this was her \"favorite middle school memory\". Students are now out of their seats, collaborating, and working on the fantastic vertical whiteboards we were able to purchase. Standing up while brainstorming and solving problems has ignited a new level of energy and engagement. With ever-changing partners, they're not only building academic skills but also enhancing their social abilities—an amazing bonus of this new dynamic setup.\r\n\r\nWe've also kicked off our \"Long Walk to Water\" unit, which has been equally inspiring. Students are diving deep into the background of the novel and South Sudan, while learning empathy through hands-on simulations of daily challenges faced by the characters. The unit will culminate in a meaningful fundraising project to support communities in South Sudan still in need of clean water.\r\n\r\nThis shift toward collaborative problem-solving, standing engagement, and addressing real-world issues has empowered even our most reluctant learners to take ownership of their education.\r\n\r\nThank you for being a supporter of change in these students' lives.
