We have been dealing with the coldest days here in the Midwest. Our middle school has started a walking club that has had to start indoors due to freezing temps. Now that we have a heat wave of temps in the high 30s-50s, they can start going outside. YAY! I am giving the students hats and gloves with the warmers for their feet and hands so they can enjoy their walks. I feel this will help them focus on being able to enjoy the fresh air without freezing!\r\nThe heating pads have came in handy already. They are helping ease cramps, tummy aches, and back pains. I can get water to students quicker in urgent situations. The water is clean and filtered for a better chance students will consume more. \r\nBeing able to use a wheelchair instead of an office chair or two staff members to help walk a student down that is injured makes a huge difference.
