Since receiving these items, we have had a decrease in arguments, and a lot more collaborative play. When there is enough for everyone, everyone wins. The students cannot say thank you enough, and they continue to thank me for putting together this project every day.\r\n Now that the weather is warming up, students are eager to get outside and start playing! Recess was turning into a time that no one wanted to monitor due to the inactivity of students and arguments that ensued daily. Students were being sent inside and missing out on the \"best\" time of day at school! Now, we are able to bring multiple classes outside at once and know that everyone can play - and play fair.\r\n Students have been working hard to learn new games when they can. Kickball has been very popular, but nothing matters more to some students than having an adult spend time teaching how to play. Out principal now frequently steps outside to throw a football around with students, or teach how to play HORSE! We are so grateful for the Donors Choose community for all of their help and support.","fullyFundedDate":1767202322616,"projectUrl":"project/raising-playgrounds-raising-joy/9970109/","projectTitle":"Raising Playgrounds, Raising Joy","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Blasik","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9747210_orig.jpg?crop=1290,1290,x0,y180&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1726248022885","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9747210"},{"teacherId":9844515,"projectId":9863569,"letterContent":"These gifts could not come at a greater time. I am giving the students hats and gloves with the warmers for their feet and hands so they can enjoy their walks.
