Your thoughtful support means so much to our classroom and, most importantly, to our students. Because of your generosity, our students now have resources that will help them learn, create, reflect, collaborate, and stay organized throughout the school year.\r\n\r\nThe classroom journals will give our students a special place to record their thoughts, ideas, questions, and learning. Journaling is a wonderful way for students to express themselves and make connections with what they are learning. Some students may use their journals to write stories or reflections, while others may use them to solve problems, brainstorm ideas, or document their progress. Having their own journals gives students a sense of ownership over their learning and encourages them to take pride in their work.\r\n\r\nYour donation of IRIS USA Board Game Storage Containers will also make a tremendous difference in our classroom. These containers will help with hands-on learning activities by provide students with opportunities to practice important academic and social skills while having fun. However, keeping these materials organized and accessible can be a challenge. These sturdy storage containers will allow us to keep our learning materials together, protected, and ready to use. Students will be able to spend less time searching for materials and more time learning, writing, and working together.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, your generosity helps create a classroom environment where students have the tools they need to be successful. When students see that others believe in their education enough to provide meaningful resources, they are reminded that their learning matters. Your donation sends a powerful message that their creativity, curiosity, and growth are worth investing in.\r\n\r\nWe are grateful not only for the materials themselves but also for the opportunities they provide. Every journal entry, classroom activity, game, conversation, and moment of discovery made possible by your donation is a reminder of the difference that caring supporters can make.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and helping make our classroom a more engaging, organized, and welcoming place to learn. Your kindness will have an impact far beyond these supplies. You are helping students build confidence, develop important skills, and create positive memories of learning.\r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate your generosity and your belief in our students. They are hoping to win some great prizes along the way. I know many of them will continue to read and challenge themselves to become better readers.\r\nAnother thing that we tried this year is having a school wide chapter book, where the teachers all took turns reading a chapter for the students to listen to. It helps the younger students feel good about reading a chapter book and the students that could read the chapter book went ahead and found out what happened ahead of time. I was fun to watch the kids talk about the chapter book. We picked a boxcar children book about a carnival. It had opened up the possibilities of reading many more books in that series.\r\nI really appreciate the support that I have gotten to help my classroom do fun things to encourage reading and learning.","fullyFundedDate":1766432346733,"projectUrl":"project/come-one-come-all/9829179/","projectTitle":"Come One Come All","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Strobel","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4057396_orig.png?crop=398,398,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1605729511332","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-strobel"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_79881","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":117,"numTeachers":5,"percentFrplEligible":33,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":86,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":8,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":2,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"23.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":73.9,"schoolId":79881,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Kulm School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Kulm School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-dakota/kulm-school-district-7/kulm-elementary-school/79881"}
