The kids were so excited to see all the new things in the classroom. The sensory toys and writing tablets have helped the kids ease into the day when they first arrive to school. We also use the writing pads during lessons. There is something about writing words and doing math problems on a colorful tablet that is more fun that on a plain piece of paper. The sensory toys have also helped calm some of our kids throughout the day, when times can be a little overwhelming for them. They enjoy our listening center with the portable CD player.
