Students were amazed, excited, and shared feelings of calm and comfort upon seeing and experiencing the comfy carpets, flexible seating, and interactive SEL materials.\r\n\r\nThe area rugs and flexible seating allow students to explore and experience a calm and comforting setting when life seems too difficult in the classroom. With budget cuts this year due to a district deficit of $43 million, many of these students are in classes with 35-42 students. These large classes can be difficult to exist in even when the teacher has strong classroom management and excellent rapport with the students. Being able to offer them a place to decompress or even complete some work in a calmer sensory environment has been a nice addition this year. \r\n\r\nWithout your generosity these reset spaces would be bare and would look like a classroom and not like a place to literally reset thoughts and emotions. Your monetary blessings will have a lasting impact on several students' lives.","fullyFundedDate":1756311812358,"projectUrl":"project/safe-spaces-foster-great-learning/9528582/","projectTitle":"Safe Spaces Foster Great Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brendle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9162636_orig.jpg?crop=876,876,x0,y29&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754163691326","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9162636"},{"teacherId":9060083,"projectId":8439998,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation!
