We have been sorting different transparent items on the light table, and the children especially enjoyed seeing how the transparent toys changed when they moved them away from the table and then placed them back on the light. When they came into the classroom and saw the light table, they were so excited! When I showed them how to turn it on, they made such excited noises and immediately wanted to begin creating, exploring, and learning. The children were also very excited to use the drying rack for their wet paintings. They loved knowing that their artwork had a special place to dry where they didn't have to worry about something being placed on top of it.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping provide these meaningful learning experiences for our children. These specialized tools allow my preschool students to express their creativity freely while developing their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Having access to these high-quality sensory and art experiences gives them a safe, colorful outlet to explore their senses, build confidence, and discover the joy of making something entirely their own.In addition to the art supplies, the diverse collection of new books has transformed our reading corner into a hub of excitement. These stories cover different seasons and unique learning experiences, capturing the children's imaginations and encouraging them to engage with literacy on a much deeper level. By connecting beautiful illustrations and seasonal themes to their everyday world, your support has sparked a true love for reading and language that will help these young learners grow for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1776387038247,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-grow-with-engaging-preschool-exp/10159049/","projectTitle":"Help Us Grow with Engaging Preschool Experiences","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gharam","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10462303_orig.jpg?crop=1344,1344,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1773338537368","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10462303"},{"teacherId":8794812,"projectId":10147834,"letterContent":"The materials provided through this project, including math and reading manipulatives, headphones, storage containers, and writing supplies, have had a positive impact on my students' learning. The math and reading manipulatives have given my students more opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences. Students are able to physically interact with materials while practicing important skills such as counting, number recognition, letter sounds, word building, and early reading concepts. These resources have helped make learning more engaging and meaningful for my kindergarten students.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have also been especially helpful during reading and technology activities. They allow students to listen to directions, stories, and instructional programs without being distracted by surrounding noise. This has helped students remain focused and work more independently. The storage containers have made it possible to organize and easily access our classroom materials, which has helped create a more organized learning environment and allowed instructional time to be used more efficiently.\r\n\r\nBecause of the materials provided, I have been able to offer more differentiated and hands-on learning opportunities to meet the individual needs of my students. I have been able to create small-group activities and learning centers that provide students with opportunities to practice skills at their own level. The writing supplies have also allowed students to practice writing, drawing, labeling, and responding to learning activities without having to worry about a lack of basic supplies.\r\n\r\nOverall, this project has helped me create a more engaging, organized, and supportive classroom environment. The materials have allowed me to provide my students with additional opportunities to practice essential kindergarten skills while encouraging independence, participation, and a love of learning.","fullyFundedDate":1776442056733,"projectUrl":"project/helping-a-title-i-school-with-classroom/10147834/","projectTitle":"Helping a Title I School With Classroom Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rowe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8794812"},{"teacherId":10295361,"projectId":10014745,"letterContent":"Ms. Gharam and I would like to extend our gratitude towards everyone who made this project come to life. They especially love the books about inclusivity and the books that are more interactive. We use this space every day as a safe place for students to reset, regulate their emotions, and prepare their bodies and minds for learning.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments happened the very first day the seating arrived. As we unpacked everything together, my students' faces lit up. Several immediately asked, \"Is this for us?\" and one student quietly sat down, took a deep breath, and said, \"This feels good.\" That moment said everything. These cozy seating options instantly became a trusted space where students feel safe and supported.\r\n\r\nWe now use the Comfort Corner during social-emotional learning lessons, calm-down breaks, and transitions throughout the day. Students are learning how to independently recognize their feelings and choose tools that help them self-regulate. I've already seen fewer meltdowns, quicker recovery times, and improved focus when students return to their work.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our next steps include building stronger emotional awareness skills. Students are practicing identifying emotions, using visual supports, and pairing the Comfort Corner with coping strategies like deep breathing, counting, and quiet reading. This space is helping them grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well.\r\n\r\nYour donation has made a lasting impact on our classroom community.
