We were able to explore 19th-century photography, pinhole cameras, and cyanotype solar printing with an in-depth PBL lesson that allowed students to first experiment, then explore, and then to create a personally expressive work of art.\r\n\r\nWe use other supplies to mount and display our work in a professional setting so students could get the feel of an exhibition. They learned to compose their presentations and add historical information even to teach those who came to see our display.\r\n\r\nWe have enough that we can deliver great lessons to more classes of students, impacting more than the initial 75.
