Students crowded around the tables, marveling at the vibrant markers, fresh paper, and other tools, already buzzing with ideas for what they could create. One of our first projects was designing encouraging posters for end-of-grade testing to hang around the school, spreading positivity and school spirit. The new printer allowed us to add full-color images and graphics, making their work look professional and eye-catching.\r\n\r\nThe moment they realized they could print their own designs in color was priceless—there were gasps, smiles, and even a few happy dances. Several students commented that they'd never had the chance to see their own work printed in such high quality before. It gave them a sense of pride and ownership over their learning.\r\n\r\nWe also completed a design challenge on ocean sustainability, where students used the new supplies to create educational visuals and innovative ideas for reducing pollution. We're now moving into a cross-curricular project where students are creating illustrated informational brochures on topics they've researched.
