We were given a printer, but without toner, we could not actually use it. Thanks to this project, that printer is now something we use regularly to support our students.\r\n\r\nWe have been able to print signs, visual reminders, directions, and other materials that we can place around the classroom and school. For many of our students, seeing something is much easier than trying to remember something they have only heard. A simple picture, sign, or visual reminder can help them remember what comes next, follow a routine, or complete a task with less adult prompting.\r\n\r\nOne of the things I appreciate most is being able to create a visual when I realize a student needs one. I don't have to wait or make do with what we already have. I can create it, print it, and start using it with the student right away.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us turn a printer that was sitting unused into something that has become part of our everyday work with students. They immediately wanted to explore them and, of course, asked when we could start playing. It was wonderful to see their excitement about math and how eager they were to learn through play.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the resources during small-group instruction and as a fun way to practice and reinforce math skills. One of my favorite moments was watching students work together during a math game. They were solving problems, helping each other, and celebrating when someone got an answer correct. They were practicing important math skills without feeling like they were doing more \"work.\" The games have also given some of my students who struggle with math a chance to practice in a more relaxed and engaging way.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue incorporating the games into our lessons as students learn new skills throughout the year. We will use them to review previously learned concepts, practice current skills, and build confidence and independence. These resources will continue to be used throughout the school year and will give our students another way to see that math can be fun!\r\n\r\nThank you again to everyone who supported our Math Is Our Game Plan project. They were so excited to open our boxes each day and discover tools that help them get the wiggles out, stay focused, build stamina, and truly enjoy school.\r\n\r\nThe Inflatable Wobble Cushions were an immediate hit! Students loved choosing their colors and figuring out the perfect amount of air. Getting a wobble cushion has quickly become part of our routine at reading group. The Wiggle Wobble Chair feet have also created a favorite chair at our learning table, providing just enough movement to keep students focused without distracting others.\r\n\r\nThe Classroom Chair Bands give students an easy, discreet way to move their feet while working. They also love knowing exactly where to line up with the Carpet Markers—there's never a question about where to be!\r\n\r\nOur sensory playroom is definitely feeling the love through your donations. The Kids Basketball Hoop and Sensory Tent are used multiple times throughout the day and have been wonderful tools for building communication skills. The Noise Cancelling Headphones are also used daily when students need to block out distractions and refocus. Of course, everyone already has a favorite color!\r\n\r\nThe Stickers have been an awesome way to motivate and reward students in the regular education classroom and in small groups. They are working hard for the chance to choose a favorite sticker for their water bottle or laptop case.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is giving my students tools to self-regulate their energy, focus on their work, and participate more fully in group discussions and conversations. Before, we constantly had cords stretched across tables, devices scattered around while charging, and the usual \"this one is dead\" moments right when a student was ready to work. It created extra clutter and unnecessary frustration for both students and staff.\r\nNow, everything has a designated place, and our technology feels much more organized and manageable. The charging station has helped keep devices charged, stored neatly, and easy to grab when needed, which has made our routines much smoother.\r\nThe Bluetooth mice have also been a big help, especially for students who find trackpads tricky or frustrating. Having a tool that is easier to control has given them more confidence and independence during computer-based activities.\r\nSometimes the smallest classroom tools make the biggest difference.
