Next on the press will be the Wizard of Oz shirts for Stokes County Schools All County Theatre. There are over 67 students in the cast! Currently the Student Government Association is taking orders for Seniors t-shirts for the Class of 2027. I am humbled that the teachers at my school trust me enough to print their t-shirts. It has been used a lot in the 6 weeks since school started. The dryer in the screen printing room doesn't always get up to temp, so we have used it to make sure the ink on the shirts are set. When I hook up my vinyl cutting machine, we will use it to heat press shirts and other things like sashes or totebags.\r\n\r\nMost recently the t-shirts for the Danbury Ghost Tours had some rough feeling ink. The students used the heat press to smoosh the ink therefore making the feel of the t-shirt better. My students have been able to sit comfortably while learning; the colors made them happy, and the change of atmosphere was refreshing. Before we got this project funded, our classroom had a lot of small desks that were all the same. The classroom was crowded, and the atmosphere was tense. Thanks to the new furniture, the students have been able to have their personal space. The vocabulary flashcards help as we go through each unit. Some student's like to hold physical cards as they learn their vocabulary, and this gives them the chance to do so. The talking flash cards help some students with dyslexia as they can hear the words and not just read them. This helps tremendously as we learn the vocabulary terms together. The verb conjugation flash cards help students as they learn how to conjugate verbs for the first time. These flashcards have allowed us to do verb drills, which the students find extremely fun! \r\n\r\nThe students loved the change in atmosphere with the lamp that was added to the classroom. It brightened the room, which the students also commented on. The students also love the digital clock with the day of the week in Spanish. They love how it changes color, and I think they find it fun to use when we learn about the time.\r\n\r\nThe students absolutely loved all of the musical instruments I got that resembled those of South America. After class ended, there was a group of students who started their own \"band\" and tried to make an actual song with the instruments.
