Not only does it give them a chance to move and get their wiggles out, but they're also practicing counting, number recognition, and turn-taking—all while having fun.\r\n\r\nOne of the biggest changes has been the improvement in focus during independent learning time thanks to the new headphones. Now, students can quietly listen to books, phonics lessons, and digital activities without distractions. I've especially noticed one of my students, who struggles to concentrate, thriving now that he can block out background noise and stay engaged with his learning. Additionally, the handbag storage has helped our classroom stay organized. They love the fact that they have a mic as well. These tools encourage students to experiment, make mistakes, and solve problems through trial and error, fostering critical thinking and resilience. This project has promoted teamwork, communication, and collective problem-solving. As students manipulate shapes or blocks, they can explain their reasoning to others, helping them to clarify and refine their own understanding. These manipulatives cater to a range of learning styles, from visual to tactile learners, helping ensure all of my students can engage with the material in a way that suits them best.
