Having books that are \"just right\" for their reading level has helped turn reading into an exciting and rewarding experience.\r\n\r\nIt has been wonderful to see reluctant readers become more willing to pick up a book and celebrate each success, while confident readers continue to challenge themselves with new titles. Students listen to fluent reading while following the words in their books, helping them build vocabulary, improve comprehension, and develop reading fluency. This has been especially meaningful for my English language learners and struggling readers, who benefit from hearing proper pronunciation, expression, and pacing while seeing the words on the page.\r\n\r\nAs we move into a new school year, the listening center will remain an essential part of our literacy instruction. Students will use it to explore new genres, strengthen comprehension skills, and build the confidence they need to become lifelong readers. \r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my classroom and in the future of every child who walks through our door.
