We are using the new supplies daily for class projects, presentations, and collaborative activities. One standout project has been our Latin American landscapes activity, where students worked in small groups to recreate different regions using modeling clay, grid paper, and card stock. As they built mountains, jungles, deserts, and cities, they also researched the geography, culture, and climate of each region—all while using Spanish to communicate their ideas.\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and genuine. Many of them expressed how happy they were to have \"real art supplies\" and individual headphones to focus on listening activities. For several students, this was the first time they had access to materials like colored pencils, clay, or presentation supplies at school. Seeing their pride and motivation reminded me how impactful these resources truly are.\r\nBecause donors helped equip our classroom, students feel more confident participating and sharing their work. They take ownership of their learning and are more willing to collaborate, problem-solve, and express themselves creatively.\r\nOur next steps include continuing our global studies unit, where students will use these materials to create posters and short presentations comparing cultures across Latin America. We are also beginning a bilingual storytelling project, where students will write and illustrate short stories that highlight the power of being bilingual. They say that color stimulates the brain and helps students learn. My students love to get colored copies of notes to glue in their notebooks. They pick out their color or trade off with a peer. I find that the students glue their colored notes in faster than the plain black and white copies. The highlighters are an added touch to the traditional yellow. I am able to plan future projects and assignments with no limitations. Thanks so much, this has made a great impact on lesson planning and my student's learning. \r\n\r\nThe wagon has made it so easy on game days to get the Cheerleaders uniforms to them on game days. I don't have every single person coming to pick up their bags one at a time anymore, they simple roll the wagon to the dressing room. All of this has been made possible because of your support! I was able to give them all the exact same bow for their hair as well. More importantly, they immediately understood that these rewards represented trust and recognition, not just treats. With your help I was able to provide popular titles in Spanish for these students to checkout. I have seen an increase in the usage of our Spanish section thanks to these new popular titles.\r\nI love to see students finding books they are comfortable with and feel they can be successful. I was able to add fiction and graphic novels.
