These materials have quickly become an essential part of our daily learning.\r\n\r\nWe use the whiteboards during our math block, especially during small-group rotations and whole-group problem-solving. One powerful moment happened during a recent review of multi-step equations. Instead of working quietly on paper, every student had a board and was actively solving problems simultaneously. I was able to immediately see who understood the concept and who needed support, and students adjusted their thinking in real time. The level of engagement and participation was noticeably higher.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the boards, they were genuinely excited. Several students said things like, \"We get to use THESE every day?\" and immediately started working—even students who sometimes hesitate to participate. The large size makes it easy for them to show their thinking, and the boards have created a more interactive and low-pressure environment where students are willing to take risks and try.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue using the boards as we prepare for our end-of-grade assessments. Students are working through mixed review problems, explaining their thinking, and collaborating with peers. The next step is having students lead more of the discussion- using their boards to model strategies and explain solutions to the class- helping build both confidence and deeper understanding.\r\n\r\nYour support has made our classroom more engaging, interactive, and responsive to student needs. Thank you for investing in our students and helping make learning visible every day.","fullyFundedDate":1776456375277,"projectUrl":"project/big-boards-bigger-math-thinking/10196948/","projectTitle":"Big Boards, Bigger Math Thinking","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. P.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2403120_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1507385604900","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-pearce-8th"},{"teacherId":9114083,"projectId":9819995,"letterContent":"It is astonishing just how much we are using this simple printer in my science classroom! \r\n\r\nIf students finish early I can just make a single copy of work on the spot!
