The Scolastic Art Magazine has been a way for my students to really engage with the way art is seen outside of the classroom. \r\n The digital access has made even more articles, images, and videos available for students to pursue on their own, including students who can not be on campus for medical or personal reasons. \r\n\r\nAlso, with the inclement weather we have been facing, I was able to create packets to send home with a magazine and art supplies that allow the students to complete work even if they do not have internet access. This really makes the remote learning accessible for all my students.\r\n\r\nAnother aspect of this resource that has been super beneficial is the interviews with art professionals and information on those careers. Things that the students may not have realized were considered art careers. For example, recently, my students were able to explore the makeup artists and costume designers from the movie WICKED.
