Thanks to you, our school counseling office has been transformed into a more welcoming, engaging, and emotionally supportive space for all of our students. The new resources have already had a huge impact! One particularly special moment came just a week after everything was set up. A fifth-grade student who struggles with anxiety came in during lunch, immediately noticed the new sensory tools, and said, \"This feels like a safe place even more now.\" That moment alone affirmed the power of your gift. Since receiving the materials, I've been able to run small group sessions more effectively, especially those focused on emotional regulation and conflict resolution. The students are more engaged and open during sessions, and they often ask if they can use the new tools during their own breaks or when they're feeling overwhelmed. It's clear they feel more comfortable and supported—and that makes all the difference. \r\nThank you again for believing in this work and in our students. Your kindness has made a real difference.","fullyFundedDate":1750256126821,"projectUrl":"project/nurturing-growth-mentoring-minds-suppo/9369560/","projectTitle":"Nurturing Growth, Mentoring Minds: Supporting Students in Need!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Meyer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10040352_orig.jpg?crop=1046,1046,x0,y111&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1747764766638","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10040352"},{"teacherId":5032061,"projectId":9073912,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donations of materials and resources to Malpass Corner's STEAM Classroom! The students were so excited to have new things to work with and learn from. The cards and dominoes are used in a variety of math games and the Human Body displays are so helpful to our older students learning human body topics for the end of grade exams.\r\n The whole donation process helps install a sense of community in our classrooms and school. The students asked about who donated and I said most of them were people we didn't know. They were grateful that \"strangers\" care about their classroom and ultimately their education. I am humbled that a village would help support the work we do at Malpass Corner elementary school.\r\n The math and science tools will be used for school years to come and can be shared across grade levels. These students are not used to new things, so a care package just for them was so exciting to share! Thank you again for taking a part in their education journey.
