Consistant access to quality materials is crucial to our learning process, and using these keyboards ensures that each day students will be able to get the most out of class. We had fun setting up the pianos and benches as a class, and now they get to learn on the things they built, which is super cool. \r\n\r\nOur piano classes are mixed-level, and good pianos are important for each part of the learning process. Our Piano 1 students are focused on familiarizing themselves with notes, keys, and reading sheet music. They have little to no prior experience with piano, so the piano quality is vital to cultivating their skills and acheiving their full potential. As they work their way up through Piano 4, they begin playing more and more intricate pieces. Working pedals, keys that don't stick, and the capacity for strong dynamic contrast are necessary to be able to play these pieces. No matter what the level, our students don't have to compromise the quality of their music. \r\n\r\nWe have seen great strides in our students' abilities, and their hard work and enthusiasm is fueled by your generosity and encouragement for their talents.
