With lessons on solfege, melody, accompaniment, and notation, the hand bells have become the motivator behind most lessons these last few weeks. \r\n\r\nRecently, our students have been exploring melody and its synchronous relationship with rhythms, and in using hand bells, they are embodying each note of the melody, allowing them to learn in real time how important each note is for a song to be recognizable. \r\n\r\nOverall, the students are overjoyed and so am I.
