Because we now have enough instruments for everyone, each student gets the chance to be actively involved in making music rather than just watching. The ukulele is the perfect instrument for beginners — it's the right size for small hands, easy to learn, and gives students a sense of accomplishment very quickly. That immediate success has built so much confidence and excitement for music.\r\n\r\nThe ukuleles have also helped us grow as a classroom community. Students learn to listen to one another, work together in rhythm, and take pride in creating something beautiful as a group.
