Many of our instructional programs include audio supports such as read-alouds, guided lessons, and interactive practice. For students to fully benefit from these tools, headphones are essential. Some of our students do not have access to headphones at home, so having them available at school allows students to complete audio-based assignments independently, stay focused during instruction, and continue their learning both in class and at home. This access helps ensure equity and supports student success.\r\nOne of the most exciting new products for students has been the use of large dry-erase boards for collaboration. Students enjoy working together to analyze texts, plan writing, and brainstorm ideas in English Language Arts without the fear of making mistakes. They appreciate being able to erase and revise quickly, which encourages critical thinking and creativity. An added benefit is that these boards reduce paper waste while making transitions from class to class smoother and more efficient.\r\nSeveral students—especially those who benefit from auditory learning supports—have responded very positively to the headphones provided. The ability to clearly hear lessons, read-alouds, and directions helps students stay focused and confident in their work. Overall, the availability of headphones helps make learning more accessible, interactive, and engaging, allowing students to take greater ownership of their learning experience.","fullyFundedDate":1757683202587,"projectUrl":"project/committed-to-the-claws/9508780/","projectTitle":"Committed to the C.L.A.W.S","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hammonds","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9650007_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723515301030","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/shana-hammonds"},{"teacherId":9127633,"projectId":9566820,"letterContent":"I would like to sincerely thank you for providing essential supplies for my classroom. Your kindness and willingness to support teachers and students truly makes a meaningful difference in the learning experiences, especially for my students.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has allowed my students to access materials that support their learning in ways that go far beyond simple supplies, The copy paper you donated allows me to create guided notes and structured learning materials for our science lessons. These guided notes help students follow along during instruction, organize key concepts, and review important information. Having these resources available ensures that every student can actively participate and stay engaged as we explore science topics together.\r\n\r\nThe markers and colored pencils have also had a powerful impact on student learning. In science, visual learning is extremely important. My students use these materials to color-code diagrams, especially when studying body systems and other complex topics. By using different colors to identify structures and processes, students are better able to understand how systems function and connect with one another. This hands-on visual approach helps make abstract concepts more meaningful and easier to remember.\r\n\r\nThe dry erase markers have helped keep our classroom organized and focused. Each day I use them to clearly display our agenda and lesson goals on the board. This helps students understand the structure of the class, stay on task, and know what they are expected to accomplish during our time together.\r\n\r\nYour support also helped provide hand sanitizer, tissues, and disinfecting wipes, which play an important role in maintaining a healthy and safe classroom environment. These supplies allow students to take responsibility for keeping our classroom clean and help reduce the spread of germs so students can remain present and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nYour generosity does more than provide supplies, it creates opportunities. It allows students to engage more deeply with science, stay organized, and learn in an environment that supports both their academic success and their well-being.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their future. Your support is helping create a classroom where students feel prepared, supported, and excited to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1757423316382,"projectUrl":"project/supercharge-our-students-support-the-po/9566820/","projectTitle":"Supercharge Our Students: Support the Power of Science!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Goode","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9127633_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1690790995322","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9127633"},{"teacherId":5351314,"projectId":9048068,"letterContent":"Thank you again for your generous gift!
