When they saw the Play-Doh and new SEL books, there were huge smiles all around. We used the Play-Doh during a phonics lesson where students built sight words and word families by shaping each letter. It was such a powerful hands-on moment—students who sometimes struggle to stay engaged were completely focused and proud of the words they created. The laminator sheets have already been incredibly helpful as well. I've been able to laminate recording sheets, word cards, and math tools so students can use them with dry-erase markers during small groups, which allows us to practice skills repeatedly without wasting paper.\r\n\r\nThe SEL books have quickly become a meaningful part of our classroom community time. We've been reading stories about emotions, kindness, and problem-solving, and students have been making real-life connections to their own experiences. One special moment was during a read-aloud when a student shared how they used a calming strategy from the book to handle a frustrating situation. It was a proud teacher moment to see those lessons transfer into real behavior.\r\n\r\nNext, we will continue using these resources to support both academic growth and social-emotional development.
