My students are 6-7 year olds that attend a title 1 school in an area highly impacted by military life. Students in a title 1 school typically do not have the means of learning that other students in the same area have. Things are not always provided so easily for them but they are so eager to learn more and want more. They desire to be successful even if they are not supported. The students in my class have additional things impacting their learning such as deployments, constant moving due to military life, and parents gone for months at a time for trainings.
