This has created a scheduling and preparation issue that must be resolved before the project can move forward.\r\n\r\nTo address this challenge, the current plan is to assemble the shed on wooden pallets. The pallets will provide a temporary, level surface that will allow the shed to be put together before the county completes the concrete work. Once the shed has been successfully assembled, the county will be able to proceed with stabilizing the structure by laying the concrete foundation. This step is necessary to ensure that the shed is secure, stable, and suitable for its intended purpose.\r\n\r\nAt this stage, the project remains in the preparation and assembly phase. The primary focus is on determining the appropriate setup, preparing the necessary materials, and coordinating the next steps with the county. Although the project has not yet produced a direct benefit for students, these steps are essential to ensuring that the final structure is completed properly and can be used as intended.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, the priority is to assemble the shed on the wooden pallets so that the county can complete the concrete stabilization work. Once these tasks are finished, the project can progress toward completion and the shed can become available for its intended use. My students were super excited to see the new materials arrive for our classroom. We could not wait to use them!\r\nBefore receiving our donations, we had been using our regular classroom chairs and floor carpets for most activities. The stools, floor mats, and lap desk have been an amazing addition to our center time, small groups, and whole-group differentiated seating! My students lov e being able to choose a different place to sit and learn throughout the day. It has been so exciting to see them grab a lap desk and find a comfortable learning spot and get right to work! Seeing how excited they are to use their new seating warms my heart! \r\nAs we work through the remainder of the year, we will continue to use these new additions to our classroom to become stronger readers, writers, and more independent learners.
