The communication devices are a huge part of our daily routine. My students are able to request, respond, and label feeling with ease. The shelf was big enough that we could store our communication devices and some of our science experiment items. They have been in the classroom and have been given the opportunity to see the wonderful advances in the communication of the students! We were hoping for them to use the devices to communicate with us, but they are also communicating with each other! That's the most amazing part! We were able to harvest bean sprouts, tomatoes and peppers that we sampled in the classroom and shared with out families. We have recently planted cilantro, parsley, and squash in the classroom garden. The students were able to watch the cycle of fish waste fertilizing the plants, and the plants keeping the fish water clean and clear.\r\n\r\nI can't thank you enough for the impact that you have made on my students and families. The best thing that has developed from the garden is the parent participation. My students talk about the garden and the fish so much until the parents have been coming to school at open house events to check out the garden.
