Your support has made a real difference in our classroom and has given our students the opportunity to learn valuable, hands-on skills while working with quality tools and proper safety equipment.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our students have been able to use these tools to build picnic tables, Plinko boards, and corn hole boards. These projects have allowed students to practice measuring, cutting, assembling, problem-solving, teamwork, and safe tool operation. They are learning skills that go far beyond the classroom and can benefit them in future jobs, careers, and everyday life.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the DeWalt tools to build a 4-foot by 4-foot hunting blind that we plan to sell to help raise funds for our carpentry program. This project is especially meaningful because our students are not only learning how to build something from the ground up, but they are also learning about craftsmanship, responsibility, budgeting, and how their work can help support the future of our program.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students and giving them the tools and safety equipment they need to learn by doing. Your gift of rechargeable task lighting has immediately made a difference. Students love controlling the light! I love being able to lower the overhead lights when a student has a hard day or a headache without compromising the productivity of our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe other essentials - paper for acrylic paint, a loom, masking tape, and plaster - have already made a difference for me. Right now, the paper is serving as foundation for acrylic color wheels (12 hues along with their tints, tones, and shades for 48 colors!). \r\n\r\nThe basic supplies aren't very groovy on paper, but it means so much that I can teach without compromising on these fundamentals.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful for your support and for believing in our students and yours truly.
