Students use them daily to help focus on assignments, listen to educational content, and block our distractions so they can do their best work. They are in high demand, and it has been wonderful to see students excited to use a tool that supports their learning.\r\n\r\nSeveral students have shared with me that having their own earbuds helps them feel more confident and prepared, whether they are working independently in the library or on projects in class. For many, it means they can better manage their own learning and stay engaged throughout the day.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for supporting not just my classroom, but our entire school community. Your generosity has given students a resource they will continue to rely on as they build strong habits for success.","fullyFundedDate":1708389291945,"projectUrl":"project/this-buds-for-you/8204343/","projectTitle":"This Bud's for You!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Slater","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6075968_orig.jpg?crop=1440,1440,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1700525538873","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6075968"},{"teacherId":6955207,"projectId":8029415,"letterContent":"How is the technology helping your students learn?\r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping us get the GlowForge in our classroom. This technology is paving the way for a new generation of artists and makerspaces. It helps with general manufacturing of various crafts but allows for the flexibility to develop unique designs. The most exciting thing about the opportunity to work with a machine like the GlowForge is that these are skills that help students build resumes for college but also for actual real-world jobs they could start now. \r\n\r\n\r\nThe other things that has been awesome to see is how students react to seeing a laser cutting in action. Being able to experience seeing what they made in a computer be made into something they can physically touch as well has truly hooked them on this new form of art expression.
