Your generosity has provided my students with new resources that we can use throughout the school year to learn, grow, and express themselves. These materials have already made a positive difference in my counseling classroom and have given my students additional tools to help them feel comfortable, engaged, and excited to participate.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were so excited and curious to see what we would be doing with them. One of my favorite moments was watching a student use the weighted bear to help calm her body and regulate her emotions without even knowing it. Having hands-on, engaging materials gives students the opportunity to be creative, work through their thoughts and feelings, and learn in ways that feel meaningful to them.\r\n\r\nMy next steps are to continue incorporating these resources into my small groups and activities. Students will have opportunities to use them during individual and small-group sessions as we continue working on important skills such as communication, problem-solving, emotional awareness, and building positive relationships. Because of your support, my students have more opportunities to learn in an engaging and supportive environment.
