Many students have entered our classroom having difficulty calming their bodies. The deep breathing and calming tools have helped them gain control of their body. Several students have even asked to utilize the resources in order to help them.\r\nOnce the students first saw the resources, they weren't sure how to use them, but since they have been shown and taught, students ask to use them. Students enjoy building different animals and showing emotions. Students also enjoy using the cubes to give them ideas of different tasks to complete. \r\nStudents are working hard at using the skills we teach in our classroom throughout their day. We are teaching them how to use them even when they don't have the physical tools to help and they are working on describing ways they can in order to fulfill that goal.
