They learned the different ways to create tie dye patterns. After they worked hard on the best patterns, then they put on a fashion show. As an art teacher, I couldn't have done it without your help. Their excitement was unbelievable. \r\n\r\nThis art project connected to social studies. We observed African and Japanese tie dye patterned. They brought in different materials to tie dye. It was a beautiful sight to see the different shirts decorating the class as they air dried.\r\n\r\nThe students loved to tie dye becuase it gave them an opportunity to make gifts for their family members and friends.
