In kindergarten, I am setting the foundation for my students to be life long learners. As a child, I absolutely loved to write. As a teacher, I want to pass that love of writing and creative expression on to my students. The journals you donated will allow my students to express themselves through illustrations and writing. \r\n When I gave the students the journals they were so excited! This particular class really loves to draw! I have many students who are great artists. I allowed the students to draw whatever their heart desired and then they wrote a sentence about their pictures. They shared their work with the class once they were done!\r\n During these last few months of school, my students will use these journals to continue to learn and create!
