The composition book rug has gotten positive attention with my students. They like the look of it and spent some time looking in this area because of it. When they have independent work time or during my study hall, some students sit in the area to work or look through books. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the rug, they commented that it looked nice and put together. A couple students thought that it looked \"awesome\" and \"soft\". \r\nThe next step for getting more students to visit this area of my classroom is to have students sit on it to work on group work. My goal is to have every student go into the area to look at the varying genres of books that I have, in hopes to increase interest in borrowing a book to read for fun.
