These items are making a real difference as my students learn the power of public speaking, creating an authentic environment for their growth. The students couldn't wait to try it out. Presenting in front of the class is a challenge, and they were eager to have the chance. As soon as they received the podium, they were competing to be the first to use it! The microphone has been especially helpful for students who need to project their voices. The microphone is unobtrusive enough that even those who don't need it often choose to use it. The students enjoy these gifts so much they don't even notice—they become more confident, and their presentations improve each time. That's where the snacks come in: they can't wait to finish their presentations and celebrate with a treat. Every few weeks, my students have to present again, gradually increasing the length of their speeches, and these tools really make a difference in their growth. \r\n\r\nA donation like this shows my students that people in our community care about them and their education, and it teaches them that they should care too.","fullyFundedDate":1761958847577,"projectUrl":"project/podium-for-public-speaking/9606614/","projectTitle":"Podium for Public Speaking","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Snyder","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6920934_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755973722281","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6920934"},{"teacherId":6920934,"projectId":8601506,"letterContent":"I am so grateful to our donors who generously provided my students materials that make their learning experience both enjoyable and enriching. It is incredibly rewarding to witness their enthusiasm and creativity flourish. The comfy chairs make a few students feel special everyday. Our room stays sanitized and healthy which contributes to positive feelings. The cozy carpet adds warmth and a welcoming feeling.\r\n\r\nBeing able to sat \"Yes, I have that\" while they create is invaluable.
