One memorable moment came during our first bilingual storytelling activity. With the new books and hands-on tools, students eagerly took turns reading in both English and Spanish, helping each other with vocabulary and proudly sharing connections to their own families and cultures. It was a powerful reminder of how much joy and confidence children feel when they see themselves reflected in their learning.\r\n\r\nThese resources have also allowed us to expand a current project on \"families and communities.\" Students are using the materials to create bilingual storybooks about their own families, combining drawing, writing, and oral storytelling. Our next step will be to host a \"Family Story Celebration,\" where students will present their books to classmates and families, practicing their language skills and building pride in their identities.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has opened doors for my students—not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.
