One of the most exciting uses has been with our learning of heart words (words that have irregular spellings and cannot be decoded) The LCD Writing Tablets allowed my students to approach the project with a level of creativity and hands-on engagement that simply wasn't possible before.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students' faces lit up! They were amazed to see the quality and how they could use them immediately. For instance, they loved using the tablets to practice their heart words. This excitement translated into deeper engagement in their learning, with many students eager to share their work and collaborate with one another.\r\n\r\nAs we continue with our project, the next steps involve learning the heart parts of these irregular words with automaticity. This is a critical moment for their growth as it is imperative that the children learn to read and spell these words so when they encounter them in their reading or use them in their writing, they can read and spell with ease.\r\n\r\nYour support has given them the tools to take their learning to the next level, and I can't wait to see how they continue to grow and thrive with these resources.
