We have been using our materials daily! Students love to help clean up the classroom at the end of the day using the wipes and mini dust pans. They also are so appreciate of having an extra snack when they need it. They love cheese it's! Students have been using the hats and gloves when they need it on a cold day. I am so thankful this was funded so they could be warm if they do not have these materials. My students were so excited to see what we got. They were eager to use the cleaning supplies and use the fidget toys when they need them. They all took turns trying the toys out and sharing them. \r\nStudents were all given a waterbottle of their own to use at school. At the end of the year I am going to print their names on them so they can take them home and keep forever. The bins have also been a major enhancement to our classroom. We use them to store our snacks, extra cleaning supplies, store craft supplies, and store holiday activities. These bins will be used with future to help ensure a clean and organized room. \r\nThank you so much again for your contributions to our room. (P. Because of you, our students are already putting these new materials to great use each day. Students use their new water bottles to stay hydrated and focused. Our new storage bins have made it easy for them to independently access and clean up materials. We've also created a calm-down corner using the stress balls and sensory toys, giving students a safe space to reset and return ready to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the excitement in our classroom was unforgettable. Students were amazed that people they've never met cared enough to support them, and there were so many smiles and \"wows\" as we unpacked everything together. Many students immediately wanted to help organize and try out the new items, and it was such a special moment to see them feel proud and appreciated.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, these resources will support our next steps in building independence and strengthening social-emotional skills. Students are learning how to manage their materials during centers and take responsibility for our classroom environment, while also practicing self-regulation using the calming tools you provided.
