During collaborative building activities, students will practice asking questions, describing their creations, making requests, giving directions, predicting outcomes, and explaining their thinking. We often start our sessions with conversation practice while students enjoy their snacks, which has created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that encourages speaking and community building.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the snack cart, their excitement was immediate and heartfelt. Many expressed gratitude and shared how happy they felt knowing the snacks were there for them. For some students, this support has made a noticeable difference in their energy and confidence, especially during afternoon lessons.
