Each book ensures that my students have access to reading material that aligns to both their interests and reading level. Since opening up our classroom library I have seen students who previously never dared to open up a book engage in reading. Many of these students can be seen browsing the shelves before class begins and reading during their free time. These books have also helped my students engage in book talks where we practice comprehension skills and explore our interests. Now that my students have books that are accessible, they are more invested in their reading and literacy development. This has improved their ability to answer questions about a text. Most importantly, the books in our library have helped students become more enthusiastic about reading.","fullyFundedDate":1755708625881,"projectUrl":"project/elementary-special-education-classroom-l/9460433/","projectTitle":"Elementary Special Education Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. LAPLANTE-DEAR","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10077999_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757124107656","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10077999"},{"teacherId":3841697,"projectId":8848050,"letterContent":"We appreciate your generous donation to our school store!
