They could not wait to get their hands on the magnetic tiles and race tracks. We use these STEM resources during free-time (which they choose over their digital devices) and as a learning center where they can choose from task-cards what to build and write about it.\r\n\r\nSTEM activities are having a positive impact in my classroom. Students are actively engaged in problem-solving, working collaboratively, and listening to one another's ideas. They are developing strong communication skills while also enjoying the learning process. It has been especially rewarding to see these skills transfer to other subject areas, where students continue to demonstrate teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to create magnetic tile challenges as teams and to take the tiles outside ( when the weather starts to get nicer) where students work with a partner to fill in predrawn chalk shapes. Plus, transitions are so much smoother when they need to get their materials.\r\n\r\nMy students love their headphones. They are good sturdy and reliable headphones that reduce external distractions which help my kids stay on task. They also were excited when they got to choose their own color.\r\n\r\nSnacks directly impact their behavior and ability to learn effectively. Fueling their bodies help to improve focus and performance and better behavior.
