My students really enjoy word work, and these hands-on materials complement the foundational skills instruction they receive during our reading lessons. I was fortunate to receive a small-group set of six kits, which is perfect for working with my remedial readers. My first and second graders absolutely LOVED using the manipulatives during our lessons!\r\n\r\nTheir excitement was immediate, and their comments said it all when I asked them to share their thoughts about these new manipulatives: \"I love it!\" \"Can we do this tomorrow?\" \"It's the best!\" One student shared, \"It helps us learn more because we can make different words we didn't know before.\" Another simply said, \"It's 100% worth it!\" Their enthusiasm is heartwarming, and I love that I am fostering their love of learning!\r\n\r\nI am so grateful to the donors who believed in my project and gave me the opportunity to use these materials in my reading room.
