The kids were ecstatic when they saw the couch and were so eager to use it! It was especially helpful in our differentiated math class. Each child was able to receive a color printed multiplication chart, place value chart and many other visual supports. Having math charts and manipulatives in color helps students break down abstract concepts, spot patterns, and recall step-by-step problem solving strategies faster than if they were in black and white. \r\nHaving the copier on the printer also made our year flow smoother. Being a Direct Consultant classroom, part of the class is students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), requiring additional supports and modifications to learn on par with their general education peers.
