Students use the pencil sharpener daily and having a dedicated sharpener for colored pencils means the traditional sharpener is not getting jammed with the soft material from the colored pencils. We use colored pencils regularly to make the concepts pop. \r\nThe kits, have not been utilized yet, because we have not gotten the those units. \r\nAdditionally, I am not at liberty to submit photos due to confidentiality of our special education classrooms. The increased opportunity to work together has made our biology class even more social and close-knit. Kids are quick to compliment and question one other's thinking and this improves not just the social well-being of students, but their academic growth as well. \r\n\r\nThe donation from Donors Choose and the amazing donors who support it has made a noticeable improvement in my student's lives. Kids look forward to sharing their ideas, and having others offer feedback. It gives my students to chance to have positive academic discussions in a low-stress, highly inviting format.
