Your generosity has brought new opportunities for creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning to our dual-language Pre-K classroom. These materials are already becoming a special part of our daily routines, and my students are so excited to use them!\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the Do-A-Dot markers, tempera paint sticks, and new pencils, they were immediately eager to create. Their faces lit up as they explored the different colors and began talking about all the things they wanted to make. We have been using these materials during art activities to encourage creativity while also strengthening the fine motor skills that are so important at this age. The tempera paint sticks have been especially exciting because students can create colorful artwork in a new and mess-friendly way.\r\n\r\nThe zipper pouches have also been incredibly helpful in our classroom. As a dual-language Pre-K teacher, I work with students in small groups for both math and literacy, and having individual pouches allows me to keep materials organized and ready for students to use. I can prepare different materials for each small group and easily move them from one activity to another. This has helped make our small-group learning time more organized and allows my students to focus on learning and practicing their skills.\r\n\r\nThank you for making these experiences possible for my students. Your generosity has brought so much excitement, creativity, and hands-on learning into our dual-language Pre-K classroom. My students are curious little learners who love to explore, build, create, and learn through play, and these new resources have given them even more opportunities to do just that.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were immediately excited to see what was inside. They could not wait to touch and explore the magnetic blocks, nuts and bolts, counting peg board, CVC letter crayons, and tabletop art easel. It was so special to see their excitement over materials that will become such an important part of our everyday learning.\r\n\r\nWe are using the resources throughout our literacy and math centers. The counting peg board gives my students a hands-on way to practice counting and number concepts, while the nuts and bolts help develop fine motor skills, counting, sorting, and problem-solving. The magnetic blocks have quickly become a favorite because students can build, experiment, and work together while practicing shapes, colors, and spatial awareness. During literacy activities, the CVC letter crayons make practicing letters and early sounds much more engaging and interactive. The tabletop art easel also gives my students a space to express their creativity while strengthening the fine motor skills they need for writing.\r\n\r\nAs a dual-language classroom, we are also able to use these materials to build vocabulary in both English and Spanish. My students can practice naming letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and other concepts in both languages while learning through meaningful, hands-on experiences.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue incorporating these materials into our current math and literacy centers as we build foundational skills. We will be using them for counting, number recognition, letter and sound practice, patterns, shapes, and early writing. Most importantly, these resources are helping my students learn through exploration and discovery, and they are making learning feel fun.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in my students and our classroom. Your support means so much to us. Because of you, my students have new opportunities to create, problem-solve, practice important skills, and learn together. Seeing their smiles and excitement as they learn is a wonderful reminder of how meaningful your generosity is.
