I was so excited to see them. I have already set up manipulatives buckets at all six of my classroom tables that hold all of the manipulatives that my students are using currently. I was also able to use one of the buckets to organize my make-shift computer desk with all the materials I will be using throughout the next couple of weeks. I have not yet had time to set up the rest of the bins with center activities and the classroom library but will start that project next week. \r\n My kids are not as grateful as I am for this project because they do not realize that every bucket and bin in that classroom is purchased by me, or donated by you, but I am so grateful and happy! we go through so many bins each year, I am so happy to have replacements for ones that I already have and new ones to be used for new purposes. The students were so excited to see the boxes of cookies and asked if they could eat them that day!\r\n The students are very motivated to earn prize box thanks to the new fidget spinner you were able to provide to us. Just today, I went out an bough about $100 in toys, candy for decorating and some bulletin board materials that I need for the upcoming holiday season. As I was walking out, thinking about how much I spend on my classroom, I thought to myself ... and that is with Donorschoose, I cannot imagine what I would end up spending without all of your support. They arrived today and made a world of difference in the room. The atmosphere was lighter, the students were calmer and we were able to cool down after recess outside. We opened them and set them up and even created a new classroom job to have student help me to remember to turn off the fans at dismissal. I am looking forward to having them tomorrow for the first time for a full day I am sure they will make for a more enjoyable day in the classroom for myself and the students.
